Help write these million dollar stories…...buy words…..it’s a novel concept!!

Hi people,

Thank you for taking the time to look at my new website. This site is an interactive form of advertising and creativity, as well as being a bit of a cyber experiment in literature and art! Sounds like a lot of adjectives for one site, but it is. It’s an original concept which combines true freedom of expression and a creative approach to online advertising with hopefully some intellect and humor.

The idea is simple: to create the largest authored story in history and allow a new form of online advertising through the sale of one million words.

The words from different people will combine to create a novel. You can also have your text linked to the website of your choice, thereby providing you a new avenue for online advertising. Individual contributions will be differentiated by font color blocks (chosen by the author of the words), thereby allowing easy recognition of separate individuals, and also creating a fingerprint of color; an eternal marker of this truly original story! (take a quick peek at the Million Word Story here). Hopefully this will gain “cool website” status à la Milliondollarhomepage and become something of a soap opera in the years to come.

But there’s more!............ People who buy words from me will also purchase a share in potential future earnings from publishing these stories. Basically, what this means is that if these stories get published as books in the future, all contributors will receive royalties from book sales (they are the authors after all!). I think the books could be a really huge seller….. they’d be greatly colorful light and entertaining reading….ideal as a type of “show book” for the coffee table and holding a worthwhile position in this market due to the novel way in which it was created. Please read Q.12 of the FAQ webpage for more information on my opinions about this aspect.

In fact, there are actually 2 stories which I am selling words for. One story has 1 million words in it, while the other has 1 million characters in it. In the 1 Million Word Story, each word can be purchased for $1, while in the 1 Million Character Story each character can be purchased for $1. The reason for having 2 stories is because it offers choice to the “word buyers”. More specifically, you get more value for purchasing a whole word for $1 thereby allowing larger portions of writing for comparatively less money. However, as this story is quite long, it may be of more interest to buy characters in the 1 million character story. Hypothetically, this could create 2 vastly different stories depending on what contributors find interesting.

Buy words from me and influence the storyline of these historic novels- we’ll write a story of predetermined length, it will be an on-going, user-designed story, you’ll have a share in the future paper-printed earnings from the story, you’ll get a great new route for advertising, and we’ll create a novel fingerprint signifying this truly original multi-author story.
